Sex does not replace love

Being wanted,
Being desired,
Be loved,
Being adored, these are all things that I feel pretty safe to say, we all want out of life.  In a world of sex in your face 24:7, the addictive behaviors that sex draws us into are so unhealthy.  Women caught in traps of fulfilling their needs to be loved by having sex with one man after another, the temporary rush of the passionate moment.  Being caught up with each other is so emotionally stimulating and physically feels so good, that it feels like that's how love should be.  It's the spark, it's the fireworks, it's the scene in the movies that has captured our eye and created our longings.  But it's not what love is.  Love is created out of a foundation of capturing each others souls and becoming one in the spirit, before becoming one in the flesh.  Connect with your significant other by getting to know their heart, get to know their passions, get to know their desires and longings.  The physical touch of love is wonderful, and in God's timing, Sex will be amazing.
What if you knew you had the world at your fingertips, and by indulging in an act of passion ripped it all away from you within a moments notice.  What if you had your fairy tale in your hands, but because your lack of self control got the best of you, you lost it all.  What if its everything you've been waiting for only to find out that it wasn't time, and you are sadly mistaken and your dream ruined?
Can you slow down for a moment enough to hear what I'm trying to say?  You are a precious jewel worth waiting for.  If your guy or your girl respects you, if you both truly believe in your fairy tale, wouldn't you rather wait for the ripe and perfect timing that God has planned out for you?  Or would you rather throw it all away for the unripened fruit that will never satisfy.  You were worth dying on the cross for - by a savior that you have never been able to look in the eye.  If Jesus finds you to be that valuable, can't you put enough pride in yourself to be able to stand up for your purity and wait.  God wants you to have an intimate relationship, after all, he is the creator of all good things, he is the original creator of sex.  But you need to be strong enough to hold out for the moment when, like waiting to blow the candles out on your birthday cake, that special moment when love is allowed to be awakened within you sexually.  Don't fall victim to being like the rest of the crowd.  Be a non-conformist.  Be the holy and sanctified child of God you are destined to be.  There is so much blessing in following God's direction in your life.  Don't miss out on the best... don't settle for a morsel when you can have the whole cake.
Dear Jesus, I know the temptation facing my friend.  I pray strength and power in them to maintain their purity, or to regain lost purity, and to look temptation in the eye and walk away.  You are the God that saves ~ Thank you for your unending, holy and pure love Jesus.  In Jesus name, Amen
